This Trireme 43 is a beautiful bluewater cruising unit, the hull was built in steel in 1983 by the shipyard "CHANTIER NAVAL DE BIOT" based on the designs of the architect François CHARPENTIER, renowned notably for having designed the TRIREME sailing yacht series, models from 43 to 60 feet.
It is a boat designed for comfort while sailing and habitability at stops. The hull with triple chines is made of steel plates welded onto T-bar frames. The thickness of the plates is 4mm for the upper chine, 5mm for the intermediate chine, and 6mm for the bottom chine.
The reliability of the construction by the "CHANTIER NAVAL DE BIOT" shipyard and the protective treatment of the metal structure carried out originally by the owner are of a quality rarely found on units of the same type.
